We invite Cape & Island leaders to an introduction of the Health Equity Compact, featuring remarks from Damian K.L. Archer, MD—Compact member and incoming CEO of Outer Cape Health Services.
The Health Equity Compact brings together over 80 leaders of color across a diverse set of Massachusetts organizations – including hospitals, health centers, payers, academic institutions, labor, philanthropy, life sciences, and public health – to advance health equity in Massachusetts.
During this virtual event, we will share an overview of the Compact’s omnibus bill, An Act to Advance Health Equity. This bill works to achieve transformational health reform through policy provisions such as diversifying the healthcare workforce, standardizing health equity data metrics, prioritizing equity in state government, and so much more.
